They're crispy. They're salty. And they are SO delicious!
Wanting to serve something easy as a starter? Or even an accompaniment to larger main course that still 'wow' your guests? These baked brussel sprouts will do exactly that. They are just tangy and salty enough to make you want more!
I started out making these brussel sprouts months ago and put them in these healthy bowls I had made and I loved them so much, I had to remake them. I added a little bit of paprika with some salt and pepper and turned these brussel sprouts into something so crispy and delicious. They are now becoming an after work snack favorite because of how tasty and easy they are.
Recipe Details
Ingredients:
About 500g of brussel sprouts
1 tablespoon of salt
1/2 tablespoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of paprika
3 - 4 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 lemon
Description:
1. Start by preheating the oven to 375 F. degrees (190C.) and begin cutting in half or into quarters about 500g of brussel sprouts and lay them on a baking sheet.
2. Add the 3 - 4 tablespoons of olive oil to the brussel sprouts. Afterwards, add the 1 tablespoon of salt, the 1/2 tablespoon of pepper, and the 1 tablespoon of paprika over top of all the brussel sprouts. Mix everything together until it is all evenly coated.
3. Once the oven is up to the right heat, place the tray in the oven and bake for about 12 - 15 minutes. As the brussel sprouts cook, they will release moisture and begin to crisp up. As they crisp and right before you remove them from the oven, squeeze the juice from half a lime over top and continue to let cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.
4. Remove from the oven, plate up and enjoy. Or do like I do, and keep the whole tray for yourself!
